One very important thing I personally take pride in is our staff longevity and the fact that we do not use agency nurses at our facility. Our staff is dedicated, and they know our residents. A testament to the care we provide is that we have many staff members who bring their own family members here for long term and/or subacute short term rehabilitation.

At White Oaks, we work to create an environment that encourages quality of life and convenience for our residents and their families. Our specialists round in the facility so our residents do not have to leave for physician appointments. Specialists include podiatry, dental, pulmonology, cardiology, gastroenterology, psychology and psychiatry.

Our nursing staff receives training to provide a higher skilled level of care including LifeVest, nebulizer and respiratory treatments.

A program offered to all residents of White Oaks as part of their admission is the opportunity to enroll into the nurse practitioner care program. The nurse practitioners are in the facility 5 days / week and available for consultation 24 hours a day / 7 days a week. The nurse practitioners work together with the physician staff at White Oaks to address medical needs including routine exams, primary and actue care, immunizations, health maintenance, family education and participation in the resident care plan development and meetings. There is no additional fee for our residents to partake in this program.
