Short Term Rehab

We have a great team of therapists at White Oaks with extensive experience. Our team works one to one with our residents to provide the best and most attentive care possible. We pride ourselves in tailoring programs to meet the specific needs of our residents.

While every facilities says they work to get residents independent, our compassionate group of therapists, who are empathetic to each individual, create a warm, caring and nurturing environment. We specialize in the latest therapies including manual therapy, PNF (proprioceptive neurofacilitation), Bobath, Vital Stim, Posture training, muscle reduction, and gait training, and using various equipment and techniques.

I am especially proud of my team. Each member of the rehabilitation staff at White Oaks has a different specialty. We use very unique treatment methods and approaches in order to assist our residents in achieving the best quality of life possible. Our therapists go above and beyond to accommodate all residents so they can reach their goals and so they can feel good about themselves.

Welcome to our new, fully renovated, State of the Art Rehabilitation Center. We’ve compiled an overview of our rehabilitation programs and services to help you choose the right facility for you or your loved one.

The Rehabilitation Services at White Oaks were developed with great care with the goal to meet the needs of our residents and our community.  Our new equipment and the features included into our new Rehabilitation Center have a purpose to assist our residents in their recovery so they can regain their ability to perform day to day activities.

Rehabilitation is available up to 6 days a week depending on the needs and abilities of the resident with one to one personalized treatment.

Equipment and newly Remodeled Center:

  • Specialty bicycle: UBE & LBE Bike
  • CYBEX Equipment
  • Biodex for Balance
  • Treadmill for Endurance
  • Kitchen and Bathroom for retraining in activities of daily living

A custom rehabilitation plan is developed for each resident with the goal that they regain the greatest independence possible. Our Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists assist our short term or long term residents to improve quality of life. Our therapists work with our residents to restore function, strength and endurance, improve mobility, relieve pain, perform activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and eating, and to regain cognitive function and retraining including those relating to speech, language, voice and oral motor disorders, swallowing, and/or weaning from feeding tubes.
