“I’ve been here two times. Received such good care here the first time and needed rehab again for leg surgery. The staff constantly checks to make sure I do not need anything, and I feel very secure and very well taken care of. The nurses are wonderful and rehab is marvelous. Six years ago I was at a different facility and I didn’t get the care or attention I’ve gotten here. The Rehab staff worked on my leg gently and improved my walking and balance. Each person who worked with me was great in their own way. I’m going home next week and would recommend White Oaks.”

Our Occupational Therapists work with residents so they can perform self-care and assist them to regain skills needed to be as independent as possible. After evaluation, goals are set and functions are adapted to each resident’s needs.

Fine motor training and hand therapy are part of programs utilized to enable residents to regain fine motor function. Adaptive equipment is prescribed so our residents can regain independence in the community.
Our new, fully renovated kitchen and fully accessible handicap bathrooms provide a refreshing environment for our residents to relearn activities of daily living.
