VitalStim® therapy may be used in Speech Therapy to retrain muscles used for swallowing.

Our full-time Speech Therapist assists our residents with neurological and cognitive disorders or injuries. They work to retrain and regain skills for speech, language, voice, communication and swallowing. Where necessary, auditory processing is incorporated. We also work to retrain swallowing to eliminated the need for tube feeding.
