The secure Dementia unit at White Oaks provides an environment that enhances the quality of life for our residents. Our dedicated staff is specially trained to meet the needs of this resident population.
Our goal is to enable our Dementia and Alzheimer’s residents to remain as independent as possible. For those residents who ambulate, the secure environment keeps them mobile without wandering concerns. The screened in terrace provides an opportunity for our residents to independently enjoy fresh air.
Our Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists and trained recreation aids receive continuous in-services on the needs of the Dementia population to enhance their quality of life through cognitive and sensory stimulation programs.
